Sarah James Whatman is a sophrologist working in Kent West, South East.
People and wellbeing consultant offering sophrology to individuals, young people, families and teams
I am a people and wellbeing consultant and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD). I work with large, medium and small employers on their people priorities, and I support young people and their families with their wellbeing through programmes in the local community.
I am interested in people, their experience of work, and the journey through education towards a first full-time job. Supporting the wellbeing of a young person today shapes the working life they carry forward.
I use sophrology, a mind and body relaxation method that combines breathing exercises, gentle movement and visualisation, to help people reach a calm mind in a relaxed body. I am based in Kings Hill, Kent.
How I work
Sessions are practical and easy to follow. I guide you through simple breathing exercises, gentle movement and visualisation, usually seated or standing and sometimes lying down. You do not need any equipment or previous experience, and once you know the techniques you can practise them on your own.
Sophrology is a complementary method and does not replace medical care or treatment.
Based in Kings Hill.
